Dezumozorlya, the Wicked God of Unlife
Dezumozorlya is a minor antagonist in the Kingdom Hearts Unlimited Saga, first appearing in a cameo appearance for "The Keyblade Wars", then making a repeat appearance as a secret boss in the Symphony of Sorcery campaign in "The Fantasmic Dreamtime".
A parasitic Old One that crash-landed on a prehistoric Earth-like world around the Late Devonian Period, causing an extinction level event in its wake, Dezumozorlya has been the monstrous god of the people of Lemuria for millennia since his arrival, serving as the patron deity to the continent's ruler Mesogog in his attempts to conquer the Lands of Legend. To better survive in Earth's atmosphere, Dezumozorlya evolved his body over a period of many millions of years into a form based on parasitic worms and primitive sea life, which grants him the ability to survive in deep oceanic pressure zones and possess humanoid hosts to do battle for him. For a time, he lent the use of his servants to fellow Old One Dark Specter to use as warriors in the United Alliance of Conquest, before they were all imprisoned by the High Council at the climax of the Keyblade Wars. Many centuries later, Taran encountered the hibernating parasite deep within a cave in the Prehistoric Jungles of the Rite of Spring while embarking on the Mark of Mastery exam, accidentally awakening it and forced to do battle with it to survive its destructive onslaught.
