Drax the Destroyer
Drax Ar'tor Saaamp'son Doogl'lass, also known by his nickname of Drax the Destroyer, is a major supporting protagonist in the Kingdom Hearts Unlimited Saga, first appearing in "An Empire of Dreams" as a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy in the Xandar/Knowhere campaign.
A former real estate agent and professional hunter from the planet Mojave, Drax lost his wife Hovat Y'vet to the Kree Accuser Ronan during a seemingly-ordinary cross-country trip across his planet's desert, and, heartbroken from the incident, vowed to never rest until the Kree and his master, the Mad Titan Thanos, were both slain personally by him for their crimes against his family. Receiving enhancements from an unknown source, Drax went on a rampage across the galaxy in search of his targets, ending with him being imprisoned by the Nova Corps in the Kyln. There, Drax became uneasy allies with fellow criminals Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot. Together, they broke out of the Kyln and became embroiled in the quest to recover the Orb and keep it safe from Ronan's iron grip. After the Battle of Xandar, in which he finally exacted his vengeance on Ronan, Drax left Xandar with the other Guardians to do a bit of good, a bit of bad, and a bit of both for the universe's sake, though not before he declared Thanos as next on his list for vengeance, and to find his missing daughter Kamaria Hetar.
