Izanagi
Izanagi (イザナギ?, recorded in the Kojiki as 伊邪那岐 and in the Nihon Shoki as 伊弉諾) is a deity born of the seven divine generations in Japanese mythology and Shinto, and is also referred to in the roughly translated Kojiki as "male-who-invites" or Izanagi-no-mikoto ("Lord Izanagi"). It is also pronounced Izanagi-no-Okami ("The Great God Izanagi").
In the Kingdom Hearts Unlimited Saga, Izanagi is a major player for the events of the mythological prequel "The Keyblade Wars - X", watching over his territory of Nippon/Japan and guiding his children Susanoo and Amaterasu on their journey to defeat the dark forces of the Old Ones. In the Age of Chaos, Izanagi and his deceased wife Izanami were some of the lesser mortals who were enslaved by the Old Ones until they rose from their shackles and allied with many other predecessors of the New Gods to battle their oppressors and drive them back for good.
