Dr. Finkelstein's Experiment
Dr. Finkelstein's Experiment is a minor antagonist in the Kingdom Hearts Unlimited Saga, only appearing in "An Empire of Dreams" as a boss fought in the BurtonLand campaign.
An artificial Incorporeo mechanical in nature, the Experiment was created by Dr. Finkelstein in the hopes of creating a test subject for studying the composition of Incorporeos, their relationship to a normal human being, and how to fight back against them and their masters in the Dominion XIII. However, unlike his earlier creation Sally, whose love, devotion to her people, and intelligence allowed her to grow a heart of her own, the Experiment was utterly mindless and remained literally heartless. This allowed it to fall under the control of the brothers Maul and Savage Opress, who, while sympathizing with the creature due to their shared origins, ultimately used it and another artificial being Torgo as pawns in their mission to conquer BurtonLand and gather hearts to forge the Moon of Lost Souls, sending it to steal Christmas presents to study the sorrow and joy of a child's emotions.
