Ithnan "Gene" the Djinn of Duckburg
Gene the Genie is a minor character in the Kingdom Hearts Unlimited Saga, first appearing chronologically in "The Keyblade Wars" as one of Revan's sidekicks on his quest to prevent the worlds from falling into chaos, then reappearing thousands of years later in "A Year of Misery" as the MacGuffin character for the Duckburg campaign.
Although he usually appears in the form of a Toon Duck, he is actually a minor member of the Djinn race, having been sealed long ago in an Atlantean lamp by mortal agents of the Old Ones. There are rumors out there that before his imprisonment and subsequent servitude to Merlock, Gene was once friends with Ugo and Eden, fellow minor Djinn hailing from Agrabah. Some claim his true name is not Gene, but rather the more Arabic name of Ithnan.
