Octomus the Master

Octomus the Master

Octomus the Master is a major antagonist in the Kingdom Hearts Unlimited Saga, making his first appearance in "Return of the Keyblade" as one of Chernabog's few splinter pieces to participate in the final battle for the worlds. He later returns in the Second Trilogy as one of Mok's most highly prized Old Ones to free at any cost, though another alliance also seeks to earn his favor by releasing him first.

Octomus is, in fact, one of several splintered Aspects of the Great Evil, Chernabog, that were sundered during his fall into Tartarus, taking his appearance from the cephalopodic creatures of the ocean he fell into. He controls several agents in both the Nightbreed Organization and Solego's Alliance due to their shared origins as his worshippers.

Story[]

Backstory[]

(His origins as one of 13 scattered pieces of Chernabog's soul that were sundered from him during the Great Rebellion of Heaven and gained a physical body during their time away from him in the Age of Chaos; developing the shard of Gluttony as his personality core; establishing his power over his own special corner of Tartarus, forming the Morlock Pantheon as his kingdom; his gluttonous appetite for food sustenance and power lust driving him to begin plotting against Chernabog to one day be the sole recipient of the Black God's Alpha Being status should they ever reform together once more)

The Keyblade Wars[]

(His emergence from Tartarus to lend the aid of his army to the United Alliance of Conquest, and a rivalry ignited with fellow Great Evil shard Dark Specter over who is worthy of leading the Empire; an alliance sparked with Queen Bansheera of the Psyma Clan to plot their treasonous desire against the Grand Monarch; serves as the Big Bad for several campaigns set in what will one day be known as Ranger-Earth; sends forth his forces to Mustafar for the final battle of the Keyblade War in order to acquire the power of the legendary Christ-Blade for himself to consume and become all-powerful; is instead defeated by Revan and cut down to size, then imprisoned by the legendary Silver Imperium Crystal in the depths of Tartarus again, swearing vengeance against the light for denying him his birthright and feast)
