Savage Opress, the Dark Hero

Savage Opress was a Dathomirian Zabrak Nightbrother who became a Sith Lord alongside his younger brother, Darth Maul, during the events of "Birth of a New Era" in the Kingdom Hearts Unlimited Saga, serving as Rank V within the original Dominion XIII. Originally known as the slain Jedi Knight Eeth Koth, his corpse was recovered from the basement of Imperial Coruscant's palace by the sinister magus Wiseman to become a servant of the Void following the massacre of Count Dooku's private Jedi elite by Emperor Zurg and Darth Vader as part of his plan to create enough vessels for Chernabog to possess using the power of the completed Moon of Lost Souls. In accordance with his plan, Wiseman hired the services of Mother Talzin and her Nightsister witches to resurrect Eeth with the dark device placed inside him as a vicious Sith Lord, placing him under their control. After murdering one of Talzin's finest soldiers Feral in a display of loyalty to his new masters, Opress entered the War for Light as a Dark Acolyte, serving as a high-ranking member in Zurg's Dominon XIII. He executed missions against the High Council during his service to the Dominion. Opress soon became a Sith apprentice to Zurg, though this was short-lived once Oppress met his end at the blade of Ellidyr.

He and the other members that were slain during the conflict in Castle Oblivion would later be revived by Zurg one year later to once again serve the Dominion by carrying out the important mission of "delaying the Keybearer while we strive to complete our glorious Kingdom of Hearts", as the Emperor put it. He would later be sent to Sunset Horizons to lead a squad of Storm-Troopers to prevent Taran and his friends from reaching Imperial Coruscant in time, meeting his permanent end when Boba Fett sacrificed himself to save the heroes in a dual self-explosion. Upon this, Savage's darkness was sent to Tartarus while the brave, noble Eeth Koth was revived as a whole being.

His attribute is Earth, and he uses his massive Axe Sword-Sabre, Skysplitter, to create earthquakes and punish opponents with devastating physical attacks. In contrast to his fighting style and physique, Opress is a disciplined schemer who often tries to keep people such as Frankenollie in line.

An Empire of Dreams[]

(Is revived with the other fallen members from the Castle as an Absent Silhouette by an unwilling Hades after the Battle of Hollow Bastion, and given a second chance to redeem himself after his failure; attempts to reconnect his brotherly kinship with Darth Maul, but is rebuked due to the latter falling further into the Darkness to compensate for his fragmented heart-soul, though he at least is able to warn Maul not to underestimate Adam's resolve; is sent to Sunset Horizons to block Taran and his friends from entering the passageway to Imperial Coruscant to rescue their friends, but is forced to retreat after being heavily injured by Boba Fett's suicidal thermal detonator move; continues to be undyingly loyal to Emperor Zurg and Darth Armor, even after it is revealed that Horde Prime is the true emperor of the Dominion; is "rewarded" for his loyalty by being forcibly brainwashed into obedience with a Malefice Black Crystal-powered Horde Chip during the final battle, with Wiseman intending to turn him into a Dark Seeker when all is said and done; internally realizes that his loyalty to a metaphorically-heartless monster was very much misplaced and privately apologizes to Darth Armor and Count Dooku for getting himself involved in a conspiracy he never should have aligned with before he is killed by Ellidyr again)
