Sir Kay
Sir Kay is a supporting anti-protagonist in the Kingdom Hearts Unlimited Saga, first appearing in "A Year of Misery" and "An Empire of Dreams".
The brutish birth-son of Sir Ector, Kay was Arthur's stepbrother for most of his childhood in the time of the Lands of Legend. Unlike the kind and gentle Wart, Kay was a self-centered, lazy buffoon who constantly bullied his stepbrother to make himself feel better about his lot in life. In time, Kay would eventually and reluctantly come to respect Arthur during the lad's revelation of his true heritage, become one of the Knights of his Round Table. During the Keyblade War's final battle, Kay sacrificed himself while fighting off the Horned King's forces invading the High Council's Moon Palace, which earned him a second chance in life by being reincarnated with Queen Athena's wish on the Silver Crystal. In the Modern Era, Kay is now a civilian of Sunset Horizons and once more the son of Ector. At the conclusion of Wart's 358 days in service to Dominion XIII, Kay was charged alongside his father by the disguised Count Dooku with watching over the amnesiac Wart during the remaining 5 days of Taran's slumber until it was time to merge both youths together to create the ultimate warrior for Saruman's plans for revenge against Emperor Zurg. Of course, Kay's blundering in his task would lead to Wart questioning his place in the universe once more and ultimately spark a series of events that lead to Saruman and Zurg's downfall.
