Vengeance/Michael Badilino
Michael Badilino, also known as Vengeance, is an Enhanced anti-villain rival in the Kingdom Hearts Unlimited Saga, first appearing in the second Route 666 campaign in "Return of the Keyblade".
A former NYPD police detective with a violent streak, Michael was chosen by the demon lord Mephisto to serve as his new Rider following the betrayal of Johnny Blaze, intended to succeed where the former had failed in properly obeying the demon lord's orders loyally and faithfully. When Mephisto's treacherous underling Roarke enacted his plans to try and overthrow his master, Mephisto empowered Michael with the fallen angel Zadkiel as his guardian soul and sent him to get rid of both Roarke's legions and the rogue Johnny Blaze by any means necessary. Vengeance has all of Ghost Rider's powers, but prefers using corporal punishment on human sinners where Ghost Rider takes a more pacifist approach. It is these different modus operandi that usually places them in conflict.
Later on, after the reborn Ophelia Sarkissian reveals herself to continue what Baron Strucker and Arnim Zola intended with the subjugation of Midgard, she uses the power of the Darkhold and the Grid combined to revive HYDRA in a far more stronger incarnation, with most of the world's events changed to suit her dark purposes, most notably having Mephisto select Michael to become the Vengeance Rider full-time as a mercenary and bounty hunter on the terrorist military organization's payroll.
