John Eisenhart, alias the Hulk of 2099, is an Enhanced hero first encountered in 2099 AD in Kingdom Hearts Unlimited. A high-ranking HYDRA assassin, Eisenhart made his living killing enemies of the global HYDRA regime after the success of Project Insight. On one assignment, Eisenhart was sent to California to kill the leaders of the Knights of Banner, a religious group that worshipped the Hulk, who had disappeared after Project Insight, as a god that would one day return and free the world from HYDRA's clutches. During the mission, Eisenhart was exposed to gamma radiation in the Knights' inner sanctum and mutated into a Hulk-like creature himself. More intelligent than his predecessor, this Hulk apparently embodied Eisenhart's long-suppressed moral compass and agreed to serve as the protector of the remaining Knights, battling HYDRA's forces even as his human side continued to serve them.
